Namsan Cable Car & N Seoul Tower @ Seoul, Korea

N Seoul Tower is one of the major tourist attraction in Seoul and it sits on the Namsan Mountain. Going to the top of the tower offers you a panoramic view of Seoul. It is really worth visiting in my opinion. Initially, my hubby was not very keen (I think it was due to the slope walking etc) but when he got up there, he was a happy man.

Getting to the Namsan Cable Car station is so near but yet so far. It is near enough to walk from Myeongdong but far enough to give you leg aches due to the winding slope while walking to Namsan Cable Car station from Myeongdong.

We walked there from Myeongdong and we didn't expect the the route to the cable car station to be so steep. It took us a good 20 minutes walk there at least.

We got our tickets for the cable car ride at the station.

N Seoul Tower is also popular with the love locks. There are stalls selling a variety of locks which you can buy and pen your love notes or name and lock it onto the grilles found at the terrace.

We saw some creative ones hanging their handphone covers instead. LOL

The view is really awesome!

At N Seoul Tower, there are shops selling souvenirs too.

There were love lock Christmas trees too. Not sure if its there only because its the year end and Christmas is coming or its there all year round.

There is an observatory where you can enter with a fee. We didn't get in there though.

There is a Teddy Bear Museum as well as Alive Museum at the tower. We visited the Teddy Bear Museum in Jeju last year and we loved it.

I also read that the N Grill western style revolving restaurant serves really nice steak and reservation needs to be made as its almost always packed. Too bad we didn't get to try it.

How to get there:
Exit 3 at Myeongdong Station on subway Line 4. Take road to the right of Pacific Hotel and walk for about 10 mins (if you are a fast walker).
