Trick Eye Museum @ RWS

On the first day of Trick Eye Museum's opening, we were in Sentosa. We had planned to head for a kid's activity but decided to tram to RWS first to take a peek at the museum. Then we saw the Q was short and its 50% off the ticket prices. It was just too good to resist so we decided to visit this first.

We were there at around 1pm. The ticket Q was quick, its the Q to get into the museum that took a while. We Q-ed for about 15 mins and is about 5-10mins away from our turn when the staff came over to asked if we want to enter first. It was really humid Q-ing outside and we had a toddler with us who was hot, tired and demanded to be carried. We may have Q-ed for 15 mins but we are grateful to the gesture of the staff. I am always impressed by establishments who are caring and always mindful of the needs of their customers, especially to those with kids, elderly and handicap people.

I want to say thank you to the staff who had given us the priority. That helped and made our decision to visit Trick Eye Museum even more memorable. :)

Upon entering, you'll see this huge baby. I think my boy was a little intimidated initially. He wasn't even keen to have any pictures taken with this.

To be frank, these displays at the entrance didn't impress me much. In fact, I thought nothing much of them and felt quite bored initially.

But as we enter further into the museum, its a different story. It gets more and more interesting. Unfortunately, the many other nice photos we took had our faces on it so I wont be posting them here. :P

I'm not sure if its better in Korea. We didn't visit this when we last visited Korea. Maybe we should if we have a chance to go again.

Many of the nicely painted background looks very flat when seen face to face. But when its on photos, they look so alive and so 3D.

We had so much fun taking pictures. You've gotta visit it with your friends to know how fun it was!

The above is one funny background. Actually the lady was lying on the floor! The background was titled at 90 deg anti-clockwise. After taking picture, you are supposed to rotate it so that it looks like you are upside down or something. The lady in the picture isn't posing that well. Its funnier if she had landed her head on the checkers and feet facing ceiling. :P

We spent a good 2 hours in there. We had a lot of fun and laughed so much. The photos (those with us in there) turned out so nicely! We are glad we had made an impromptu visit. At the end of the fun, you can upload your pictures to your instagram and tag #trickeyesg to get your photos printed for free.

From now till 22nd June, Trick Eye Museum is offering ticket prices at 50% off if you purchase the tickets at the counter. Adults cost $25 each before discount and child age 4 & above pays $20. Walk towards the Malaysia Food Street direction and follow the left path towards Astons. It is located just next to Astons. Have fun!!!

Last Update: From Trick Eye SG's facebook on 15 June, the Q into the museum was insanely horrendous!! The waiting time was 5 hours.
