Cool De Sac @ Suntec City

It's a month long school holiday. My boy is in those 3 hourly nursery class hence their school calendar follows the MOE school calendar. Took a morning off to bring him out for a short play.

Cool De Sac is a newly opened playground. On a Friday morning when we went, we paid $18 (after 10% discount with OCBC credit card) for unlimited play. They allowed two parents to accompany the child and subsequent adult will be at extra charge.

Upon entering, I notice they did not get the kids to sterilize their hands. It would be good to practise hygiene.

The place is huge even at the reception area.

It is thoughtful to cater for lockers so that parents and kids can enjoy the play without worrying having to carry along the bags or diaper bags.

Shoe shelves to keep your shoes. Everyone must wear your socks when inside the play area. So do bring your own socks!

There's diaper room available too. This again I feel is helpful to parents with kids. You don't need to scramble out of the play area to look for a baby room which can be quite a walk and sometimes occupied.

The amout of space available is heavenly. Kids can run around they wish and with parents in there, it still has lotsa space for kids to run around.

There are staff at most of the stations to help guide the kids. This again is helpful as parents might be busy with other kids and cannot afford to split their time equally. With staff stationed, it will help minimize unnecessary incidents among kids.

Let the kid's creativity run wild with all the lego bricks!

Lotsa waiting and sitting space for parents. There's even the bistro where parents can rest, eat or drink while they keep their eyes peeled on their kids.

This indoor playground feels really safe enough. I think I feel comfy too if I have to bring my boy there alone.

While the costumes are nice... they looked very worn out and tattered. I didn't even dare to let my boy put them on as it looks really 'kiam kiam'. Not sure if they do upkeep these costumes and wash them?

Face and hang painting for the kids. This is nice!

Gaming on the tv. Oh well.. I would prefer my kid not to indulge in this. After all, too much tech gaming is bad and since i wanna spend money to bring him out for play, I would rather he has some childhood games rather than pinning the eyes onto the screen all the time... especially when they already do that at home.

Infant and toddler area.

They have membership packages too.

Its cool to have a birthday party there but its not cheap.

We had our lunch here. The prices are reasonable too. This is really good. I will really consider coming back with my boy except that the cashier service is extremely slow. Either she was not familiar with the register or she was just being slow. Parents Q-ing to make order were seen feeling impatient. Its understandable as some of us we had our kid(s) seated at the table by themselves while we place order. And sometimes when kids are hungry, they are hungry! They cant wait. So parents would naturally want to quickly place the order and go back to the table with the kid(s).

My boy had this pasta. For $5 this is really decent. I love places that includes kid's meals. It makes our dining experience much more pleasant.

Hub had this omelette dish while I had hawaiian pizza. The hawaiian pizza is really good.

All these for about $32 is reasonable.

My boy asked for apple juice. They do serve kid's size as seen in the cup above. Guess the cost?

Nay.....

This one is expensive and not worth at all. It cost $3 for that cup and half the cup were filled with ice as what you can see below. Yes all that ice filled up half the cup and we paid $3 for that?!! Terrible. So dont ever order juices from them.

Art area with art paper supplied but hardly was left when we left the place at 1pm. LOL

A basin for hand washing after all the art craft work.

Some nice artwork done by other kids.

At the entrance, they sell some small craft work sets too.
