Christmas Wonderland @ Gardens by the Bay

As much as we love the flower dome, we also love the various activities / theme available at Gardens by the Bay throughout the year.

Still in the Christmas season, Gardens by the Bay is holding a Christmas Wonderland theme. What is Christmas without pretty lightings? 

This set up is really pretty and that is where the scheduled man-made snow is held.

Lighted fairies on stilts!

People were gathering around waiting for the man-made snow.

Finally it came and kids went all crazy!

There is no snow in Singapore. There is no Christmas market here too. But we have lotsa activities to bring the mood of Christmas out. Many families and friends in SG do not celebrate Christmas as a religion but its a chance to gather, eat, be merry and bond with your loved ones.

Such carousel feel and I really love it!

Christmas Theme @ Flower Dome, Gardens By the Bay

Our family visits the flower dome so regularly but fortunately, we dont get bored. That is because they revamp the themes in the flower dome every now and then.

This time its the Christmas season so naturally it should be on a Christmas theme.

One other reason why we like the flower dome is because the smell of flowers is always so so endearing. And the best place to beat the heat too!

Miffy is back for the Christmas theme. We were lucky we entered at the right time because Miffy was just at the entrance of the flower dome.

What is Christmas without Christmas tree?

Apart from white lilies, hydrangeas are my next favourite. 

We don't ever get snow in Singapore. The only one time I have experienced snow is during our honeymoon in Europe. So the next best experience to enjoy 'snow' will have to be in the flower dome. Cheap thrill I know but better than nothing. ;)

The entire flower dome is so so beautifully decked making the festive mood even more apparent.

We are definitely looking forward to next year's Christmas theme! Hopefully it is better if not as good as this year's.
