There are many MK outlets in Bangkok hence its not hard to find if you want to try them out.
I noticed restaurants in Bangkok are not really crowded even when its dinner time. Whereas in Singapore, usually long Qs would form at restaurant entrances by dinner time.

We went to the one at MBK Center, Level 7.
In Bangkok, it is really common to see such huge figurines at the entrance of restaurants. Not sure why or if it is a trend but they are quite cute!
We ordered a mixed mushroom set. The lady said it would be just nice for two of us. But turn out the plate was huge and we bursted into laughters.
The soup stock is really good. Hub loves it.
Since the mushroom is so huge a plate, we didn't order too many other items as we are both small eaters.
This chilli sauce is good and to die for. Hub is not a spicy person but he loves it too. A good steamboat is not made up of only good soup stock and fresh ingredients... chilli sauce is important too!
The entire meal cost us about S$20. That's really value for money!
I shall visit the one in Singapore soon.
