Hub has been wanting to come this place but we never did. Until he saw this on the recent 9pm Channel 8 drama, he decided we should go check the place out.
Since I had to go for medical review and had some time to spare for lunch, we headed there.
It's located in Balestier behind some malls along the main road. It's not that hard to find... its not that easy too.
Anyhow, the outlook looks like an warehouse. But then this is the IN thing now isnt it?
As the name of the cafe suggests - Wheeler's Yard. It's theme is on bicycles!
Bicycles were the main decor as evidently seen through the indoor and outdoor cafe.
There weren't many cosy small tables inside the cafe. In fact most people had to share the huge table space. But I guess it didn't really bother the diners as the table was huge enough for each group of patrons to keep to themselves.
You need to place your order at the counter. On a weekday lunch, it was considered crowded.
The menu is something simple. Not very fanciful. Prices are average for its appetizers but can be a little high for mains.

Lotsa bicycles at the outdoor area. I did not check them out but I think it's for sale.
We ordered this all day big breakfast. Nothing extraordinary.
They had smoked salmon salad on promotion so I ordered this.
The outdoor sitting area had more smaller tables.
Quite looking little bicycle. I would think our boy will insist on hoping onto it if he was with us.
Hub loves this place. Alright... I do agree its an interesting concept but food and price wise, nothing fantastic! Maybe we will come back just for tea but not food.
