Mid Autumn Festive Lightings @ Chinatown

One thing I love about living in Singapore is the multi-racial festives we have. Singapore is a small country but we are full of lights. During festives like Chinese New Year, Christmas, Mid-Autumn, Diwali, Hari Raya, etc there are pretty lightings put up along the streets to signify the festive.

We love visiting the streets during this period to 'watch' lights.

During the mid-autumn festive, lightings are up in Chinatown.

This year the theme is on flowers and its really a pretty sight.

Its a pity these lightings are up only for a couple of weeks. It would be nice if we can have streets decked with pretty lightings permanently. That would be awesome and  create a nice atmosphere for evening strolls. I would think that would help promote it to become a popular tourist spot eventually? :)
