Flor Patisserie

Likewise, even for cakes, I am so so so so indecisive! I just want to get the nicest, best cake for hub's birthday. It's like I always spend so much time and effort to just get a cake and decide on a venue for dinner. Basically I wanted something unique, special and different. By chance, I came upon this site - Flor Pastisserie and it was just the perfect type of bakery I am looking for - Yummy cakes, fuss free ordering, customizable, special and yet within budget. :D

You can order the cake online and customize some toppings on the cake. The flavours all look so good. I'm so tempted to order the banana choc flavour but it wasnt really a sponge cake. I was afraid it might be too sweet and rich so to be safe, I chose the strawberry one instead. The sponge is very light and fluffy and not sweet at all. Just what I like.

You can choose the size. I chose the 6 pax size which is just nice for us. We love cakes so we could have two helpings over two days. :P Ordering online was a breeze. 

Bakeries should make it easy for us to place orders online and they should allow customization so that we can all have a special cake! 

I chose to pick the cake up from the counter at Takashimaya. I think they also have counters at several other places. Do check out their website!
