MK Steamboat @ 313 Somerset

For those who frequents Bangkok should be familiar with MK Restaurant. I have tried this in Bangkok and Malaysia but never in Singapore. MK Restaurant set up its first shop in Singapore about a year or two ago at 313 Somerset.

I was craving for something light and soupy so we decided to eat here. 

The table set up in Singapore definitely looks a lot more posh than those in Bangkok and Malaysia.

Both of us aint heavy eaters so we didn't order a lot.

It's nice that they have a full set of kid's cutlery for kids.

And so the outlet in Singapore is so high tech too. You can place your order on screen.

Of course the poshier setup comes with a price. The items are definitely pricier than when we dine in Bangkok and Malaysia. Somehow we both feel it tastes better in Bangkok. Haha!

I think in Bangkok for two of us, we spent less than $20 for a meal. Here it cost us $50 over!

Guess we wont eat in MK Restaurant here anytime soon. We will be heading to Bangkok again in June so we will eat there then!

Something interesting after I settled the bill.... the receipt comes with a chit telling you the nutritional value based on the items you ordered. Kinda healthy eh .... but then only after you ordered and eat then you know how 'healthy' you had been. LOL
