Eating chicken meat from soup... normally is not my favourite. I don't like chunky meat and chicken boiled in soup for some time tends to be dry. But there is a saying that goes 'When in Rome, do what the Romans do'. So in Korea, we must try their Ginseng Chicken.
It took us a while before we found this famous Hwanghu Samgyetang @ Gwanghwamun.
The restaurant is huge and we were early so there wasn't any crowd.
Slowly, the crowd streamed in.
Utensils were stored in a drawer under the table.
There were several choices for Ginseng Chicken. Some are suitable for females. So we both ordered one flavour each.
Surprisingly, the chicken is tender and not dry. The soup is flavourful yet not too overbearing with Ginseng taste. The glutinous rice stuffed in the chicken taste good too!
We love it!
Overall, service is prompt and we really love the Ginseng Chicken. Soup base is not oily too. :D
