While we were in Bangkok, my sister's friend urged me via FB to visit Mr Jones' Orphanage located at Siam Centre. Actually we were in the area on Day 1 but did not notice. On our very last day, we had some time so we decided to explore Siam Centre and eventually squeezed time to patronize this cafe. I was definitely delighted that we decided to try it out.
The concept is so cute and nice. There are lotsa teddy bears albeit fairy talely decorated in the cafe. Entering the cafe will immediately perk you up and make you happy.
The cafe isn't exactly huge or spacious but like I mentioned, the concept is too cute, you wouldnt care about the space! Besides the teddies, there were hazardous tracks above the seats. So you need to be careful when you move to your seats, least you get knocked on your head. :P
They serve mainly desserts. Initially we wanted to lunch here as we thought they would serve some main courses too, only to realize they don't. Hehe.
The pretty cakes are all displayed on a huge table when you enter the cafe.
You will be spoilt for choices with the many pastries available. I had to walk one round, stop and think b4 I could decide what I want. Haha.
This looks so nice. I am so tempted to get the chocolate ferrero but it looks so so sinful. I can't take chocolate cos it will give me pimples! :P For vanity's sake, I gave this up. Haha. Look at the price of each piece of cake. 85-120 baht is cheap! That is less than S$5 a slice.
This is one of their best sellers so I gave this a try. Thumbs up! The oranges and orange marmalade accompanying the cake is not too sweet. The sponge is fluffy and light. It is really very nice!
I also ordered a hot pot of tea to share. I love the english but yet modern looking tea set. Its so intricate.
